LeADERS

What is LeADERS and significance of Leaders to me?

Old Dominion University’s LeADERS program connects students to courses and real world experiences in the areas of: Leadership, Academic Internship, Diversity, Entrepreneurship, Research, or Service Learning. This LeADERS ePortfolio shares how my experiences in the areas of Leadership, Internship, and Research have supported my personal and professional development.

Joining this organization allowed all of my accomplishments and hardwork have representation at Old Dominion University. Within my opportunities of being Vice President of Theta Chi Fraternity, Member of the SAE Baja Carbon fiber skid plate design team (Conducting hours of research), and Participating in an Internship at Tegra Global. Being able to balance and counteract all these extracurricular activities while completing my Mechanical Engineering degree, LeADERS allows direct representation of like-minded individuals.

Looking forward, I hope to get my foot in the door to coninue my mechanical engineering career by becoming a PE and establishing my own engineering firm. Click the following buttons below to see how LeADERS was directly incorporated into my course work.
